Cyber Newsletter: 1-25-2012

Hey Cyberhawks;

Just a few updates and reminders:

1. Blackhawk's fiscal year ends on 1-31-12 and the combination for the gate and clubhouse door will change shortly after. If you want uninterrupted access and have not done so already you need to fill out your application and send it in. If you've misplaced the hard copy sent in the 'snail mail' newsletter, one should be available on our web page. Please fill in the E-mail address very carefully and clearly so you continue to receive these updates.

2. Our next Archery tournament is an indoor brush shoot on 2-18 and 2-19. This is a combination of 3D and paper targets shooting at different angles and between artificial vegetation. We are in need of workers for the morning and afternoon shifts. If you would like to get your hours in early in the fiscal year, respond to this E-mail and I will forward your message. 

3. Please when opening or closing the gate please cover the lock with the brown leather pad. If you don't, the next person may be dealing with a frozen lock. It could be you that is inconvenienced.

4. Last week Saturday was the first day of our archery class. We had a volunteer help by checking in students and serving hot dogs and chips and it was an invaluable aid in making the day and  classes go smoothly. If you could help out on a Saturday morning from about 11:45 to 5:30  please contact Sheryl at: 608 772-1505 or sblaschka@charter.net  These would count for work hours for 2012.

Cyber Newsletter: 12/8/2011

Dear Cyberhawks;

Just a few heads-up and reminders:

Annual Members Meeting:  The annual members meeting will be held at the clubhouse at 7:00 pm on January 9th 20012. Election of officers and any business you would like to bring up for members and the board to discuss can be done at this meeting.

Brush Shoot: Our next tournament will be an indoor brush shoot on January 14th and 15th. If you’ve never participated it is a real experience shooting a combination of targets including many 3D targets that are usually seen only outside. Why not put it on your calendar and check it out. If you still need to get in work hours this will be one of the last opportunities in this fiscal year. If you can work either a morning or afternoon shift just respond to this newsletter and I will forward it so you get on the schedule.

Winter Indoor Leagues: Winter indoor Hunter leagues will begin on Tuesday and Wednesday January 10th and 11th. I believe there will also be an indoor spot league starting on Thursday January 12 but that has not yet been officially confirmed so that still may change. Signup sheets should be posted at the clubhouse.

Annual Awards Banquet: Mark your calendars for March 10th. We will be meeting at Rex’s Inn in Waunakee to celebrate the year gone by and give recognition for accomplishments throughout the year.

Archery Classes:  Ages 8 to adult. Certified NASP instructors with Genesis bows provided or bring your own.  Session Dates: January 21, 2012 – March 10, 2012. No class February 18, 2012 due to Indoor 3D Brush Shoot;  $42 per session includes T-Shirt.

Beginner Sessions: Saturdays 12:00 - 1:30pm & 1:30 - 3:00pm
Intermediate Sessions: Saturdays 3:00 - 4:30pm

Spring Turkey Applications:  Finally for you kings and queens of procrastination December 10 is the last day to apply for your spring turkey permit. It can be done on line so do it now!!!!!!
